Freight Sales Account Executive

Pay: Salary + Commission

Status: Full Time

Job Summary:

The Freight Sales Account Executive is responsible for providing logistics solutions for future clients as well as developing and maintaining relationships with customers. The job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Focus on driving revenue growth by selling CT s suite of services, with a particular emphasis on Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), and our state-of-the-art Transportation Management System (TMS).

Develop and maintain relationships with customers resulting in residual business

Negotiate profitable rates and bid on future business opportunities

Establish long-term partnerships by ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.

Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and proactively address concerns.

Stay informed on market trends, competition, and client needs within the transportation and logistics industry.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of sales experience required within the transportation or logistics industry, with a focus on FTL, LTL, and TMS services.

Concentrated work ethic, problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing setting

Self-motivation and keen negotiation skills

A positive can-do attitude

High school graduate or equivalent

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Phone sales experience is preferred, but not required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.

Goals:

Generate leads, build relationships, and close sales with key decision-makers in transportation and supply chain functions.
