What You'll Do:
Oversee Utility billing operations and staff
Help develop and implement efficient billing policies
Manage financial transactions, journal entries, & work orders
Serve as the go-to expert for utilities accounting
What are the Requirements for this Role?
Three (3) years of accounting, fiscal auditing or double entry bookkeeping experience.
Graduation from a program, college, university, or institution of higher learning regionally accredited through the U.S. Department of Education with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
A combination of full-time experience in accounting, fiscal auditing or double entry bookkeeping of (6) six or more years, as determined by the City,
may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Bring three (3) or more years of supervisory experience, and you'll be ahead of the game!
A valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Word or Google Docs, and Excel or Google Sheets is a must.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $24.67 per hour and will increase to $25.65 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.
