Professional appearance and demeanorAutomotive Receptionist Primary Responsibilities
Warmly greet customers as they enter the dealership and accompany them to the appropriate department for a warm handoff.
Answers phone calls professionally, directing customers to the correct department in a friendly and efficient manner.
Ensure that the customers are connected promptly and not left on hold for extended periods.
Listen empathetically to customer concerns and direct them to the appropriate department manager.
Build rapport with team members in other departments to facilitate smooth communication and transfers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions i.e. receipts, purchase transactions, messages to be relayed.
Scan documents for electronic storage and maintain organized records.
Refresh waiting areas, attend coffee bar, and restock and refresh items as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.Automotive Receptionist Additional Responsibilities
Assist with cashier duties as needed, including processing payments, applying discounts, and balancing transactions at the end of the day.
Support inventory management by stocking cars in the internal computer system, creating tags, assembling packets, and processing dealer trade paperwork.Automotive Receptionist Requirements
Must be able to work a full-time schedule of Monday-Thursday 12p-9p and alternating Friday & Saturday 9a-6p.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency with computers, calculators, copiers, scanners, and other standard office equipment.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and escort clients to various departments.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
