Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
- Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Assist with radiography, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic procedures
- Provide support and comfort to animals during examinations and treatments
Experience:
- Experience as a veterinary technician preferred, but willing to train the right individual.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and veterinary critical care
- Experience working in a laboratory setting, performing tests and analyzing results
- Strong skills in animal handling, including dog restraint and cat handling techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as with other team members.

Requirements:
