Welder II - 3rd Shift
Sunday through Wednesday 9:00pm - 7:00am & Thursdays 9:30am - 1:30
$25/hour
Summary:
The position will be responsible for performing high mix/ low volume manual TIG welding of Stainless Steel and Aluminum in a high-quality medical device manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts within acceptable tolerances and standards.
Build weldments through manual layout and manual surface prep processes when required.
Read and interpret welding blueprints including standard welding symbols, travelers, and other work instruction documents.
Positions parts are to be joined using fixtures and other holding or positioning devices.
Use required measuring instruments and gages to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.
Assist in problem-solving activities
Capable of mentoring and training Welder I
Complies with all quality standards.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Vocational / Technical - Completion of welding training program, preferred
2 - 3 years Welding experience.
2 years of experience working in a solid metal fabrication/machining environment is required.
