Foreman/Jr. Superintendent

Job Description

Supervise and coordinate construction crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage daily operations, delegate tasks, and maintain a safe work environment. May manage small projects less than $500,000. Growth opportunity to Superintendent position!

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision: Directing and coordinating the work of construction crews.

Planning: Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and quality control.

Safety: Enforcing safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.

Coordination: Collaborating with project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Communication: Communicating effectively with crew members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during construction.

Training: Training and mentoring construction workers and tradespeople.

Material Management: Coordinating the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials.

Equipment Operation: Supervising the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.

Reporting: Providing regular progress reports to project managers and supervisors.

Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
