Allied Reliability is seeking several experienced Sanitation Associates for a temp to hire opportunity with one of our premier clients in the Columbus, OH area! These positions are on 3rd shift with hours from 10:30pm until 7am.

Position Summary:

Use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation tools to clean raw chicken processing lines and packaging stations.

Remove soil, fat, feathers, and protein buildup from equipment used in raw poultry handling.

Follow strict sanitation protocols to prevent cross contamination between raw and cooked product zones.

Disassemble and clean conveyor belts, deboning tables, cutting equipment, and weigh scales.

Follow chemical handling procedures and measure concentration accurately.

Wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols in wet, cold, and protein-heavy environments.

Complete sanitation checklists and logs with accuracy.

Execute detailed sanitation on chicken processing equipment including slicers, grinders, scales, and packing machines.

Perform pre-operational checks and document the cleanliness of raw zones before daily startup.

Operate foamers, CIP/COP systems, and other sanitation tools with minimal supervision.

Safely handle and mix chemicals for degreasing and decontaminating.

Help train and support entry-level associates.

Monitor for allergen, protein, and microbial risks.

Maintain cleanliness in high-risk contamination zones and around live pathogen controls.

Follow sanitation schedules and report sanitation validation results.

Communicate any equipment or cleanliness concerns to supervisors.

Required Skills & Experience:

2+ years of sanitation experience in a food or protein facility preferred.

Strong knowledge of sanitation best practices in raw poultry environments.

Ability to read, understand, and follow basic cleaning procedures.

Willingness to work around raw meat, blood, and strong odors.

Must follow GMPs, safety standards, and company policies.

Must be able to work overnight hours and weekends as needed.

Able to read and follow chemical SDS and dilution procedures.

Good written and verbal English communication skills and is considered a core business need to ensure clear instruction and adherence to safety protocols.

Must be meticulous and dependable with strong attendance.

Experience working in wet, cold, or refrigerated zones (below 40 F).

PPE use required, including rubber boots, gloves, goggles, and face shields.

Background check and drug screen required.
