JOB SUMMARY:
A Lead Consultant at Argano is a highly experienced professional in the consulting family responsible for managing mid to large size client engagements and contributing to the growth and development of the consulting practice. The ideal candidate will be a consummate professional who can thrive in an upbeat and innovative environment and collaborate with clients to deliver a state-of-the-art solution. The individual will excel at delivering high quality service and cutting-edge solutions to Argano clients in the Homebuilding Industry. The Oracle JD Edwards Homebuilder Consultant will focus on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of an Oracle JD Edwards Homebuilder implementation. The JDE Homebuilder Consultant is expected to have expertise in the Homebuilder industry as well as experience in implementing the JDE Homebuilder solution. This individual will identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles. A JD Edwards Homebuilder Consultant gathers and documents client business requirements, designs and configures the system solution for Homebuilder applications, and assists with system validation, go-live preparation and support. Lead consultants strive to deliver quality work that will drive customer satisfaction and require excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Using in-depth knowledge of the JD Edwards Homebuilder applications, as well as Homebuilder industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost effective solutions to solve business issues
Work collaboratively with project team and client employees to configure, test, and implement JD Edwards Homebuilder solutions.
Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval
Identify and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles.
Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary
Act as the primary point of contact for client counterpart. Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Keep all parties informed about project progress, risks, and challenges.
Conduct and Lead Prototype testing
Coordinate with the client to perform the Business Process and User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions
Go-Live preparation and cut-over support, and post-production support
Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization throughout the implementation. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.
Work with Oracle support to resolve service requests.
Willingness to travel as needed.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 5 years of experience as JD Edwards Homebuilder consultant with 3+ years of experience in implementing or supporting projects and upgrades
Homebuilder Industry expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Finance
Purchasing
Home Sales
Land Acquisition, Land Development/Subcontracting
Community Planning
Warranty
Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing prototype tests, perform functional configuration, and manage testing of ERP solutions
Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Ability to maintain a professional attitude under stressful circumstances
Proven experience with guiding clients through business process improvements
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
High commitment to exceed performance expectations
High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers
Produce end-user and technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer
Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
