Business Analyst – Build Safety Services

Temporary position for up to 24 months
We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst - Building Safety Services to join our Building Safety Services team. This role is key in ensuring that we deliver a sector leading and high-quality building safety capability with our priority being the safety of our residents. In this role as Business Analyst - Building Safety Services, you will be responsible for the Business Change Work Area undertaking detailed analysis, process mapping, recommending improvement measures for the business and supporting the delivery of the resulting projects. Successful Operational Change means excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are therefore essential to this position.
The role of Business Analyst – Build Safety Services will include:
Making recommendations to the Senior Management Team to support decisions on any area of business change
Liaising with internal and external customers to identify business needs
Performing analysis to enable the implementation of effective change
Supporting projects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure objectives are achieved
Reviewing key business issues and considering how best to improve business performance
Conducting data analysis to establish areas requiring improvement
Documenting and implementing new and existing project management processes to achieve project efficiencies and cost reductions
Ensuring processes are communicated to and fully understood by all stakeholders
Managing a broad range of stakeholders at all levels throughout the business
Delivering system, process and cultural change
Skills and experiences:
Experience undertaking business analysis, identifying and implementing business improvements
Experience of systems implementation and optimization
Experience in the completion of business change impact assessments
Experience delivering business improvement projects within time, quality and budget constraints
Experience creating business cases for change and other project documentation
Experience of business requirement definition, leading to technology implementation
Experience producing quality business documentation, including process documentation
Experience developing robust policy documentation
Knowledge of managing a variety of stakeholders, sometimes with competing objectives
The ability to develop strong relationships with other programmes to identify efficiencies and dependencies to delivery

Role salary is £44,192 with an additional policy allowance of £2,775 per annum (rising to £46,517 with an additional policy allowance of £2,921 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
