Our Client a leading FMCG company in Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Assistant Senior Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to accounts management, including financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The role also involves assisting in managing accounts receivable and payable, auditing, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Senior Accounts Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring a transparent financial analysis and budgeting system is in place and managed effectively
Adhering to internal and external audit requirements
Assessing the banking operations from the company side
Interaction with all departments on a daily basis as a custodian of the business
Adopt a hands-on approach with flexibility to carry out daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met
Processing Normal & Management Payroll
Proficient in handling the complete process of Payables, General Ledger,Assets,AR.
Finalization of Trial balance
Finalization of Month end closing activity
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
Assisting in monthly & yearly closing
Implementing necessary changes in the accounting processes and procedures to align with the recent changes in IFRS and accounting standards.
Managing the annual external audit process to ensure timely completion and accuracy of our financial statements.
Preparing ad hoc analysis and reporting, and providing support to the Finance departments with transactions, inquiries, audits, and reporting.
An expert in ZAKAT, VAT, and WHT, responsible for preparing the annual ZAKAT declaration report.
Conducting the evaluation and providing development plans for the upcoming year.
Effectively managing the accounts team & facilitating the smooth flow of business
Processing online transfer and forward to Management for approval
Auditing employee appraisals, reimbursements, salary adjustments
Auditing & validating contracts for rent, employees, contractors
Auditing Insurance claims for staff
Managing the team for smooth closure of month end
Verifying all accounting transactions
Payroll costing, Provision for Indemnity . Handles the entire HRMS Module
Perform any duty assigned by the line supervisor
Attend any cross training as mandated by the line supervisor
Alternate for colleagues when requested by the manager and ensure that own team mates are trained to replace you prior to annual leave.
Comply with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of the company and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when carrying out duties
Qualifications:
Masters/Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Over 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance within the same industry.
Proficient in MS Office, Oracle, and other relevant software.
Certifications in accounting (e.g., CSAM) are a plus.
Advanced negotiation skills, fostering long-term customer relationships.
Focused on identifying and acting on opportunities to drive profitability and improve business performance.
Skilled in creating organized workflows, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
