Position Overview:
Were looking for a Business Development Representative to manage the full sales cycle - from taking inbound calls and qualifying leads to generating proposals and closing deals. As the first sales hire, youll work directly with the founder to improve and evolve the sales process and infrastructure. This is a high-impact role with the potential to grow into sales leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound sales inquiries and discovery calls
Qualify leads and guide prospects through the sales funnel
Draft and deliver tailored proposals
Close deals and support clients through onboarding
Collaborate directly with the founder to refine the sales process
Track sales metrics and maintain data in HubSpot
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably full-cycle
Comfortable taking discovery calls and closing small to mid-size deals
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
Reliable, proactive, and able to operate independently in a remote environment
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with outbound sales or cold outreach
Background in working with startups or founder-led sales teams
Familiarity with tools like Apollo, Sales Navigator, or Loom
Ability to contribute to refining sales scripts, sequences, and automation
Previous experience working with US-based clients or teams
