Logistic Coordinator

Job Description

An international agricultural service company is currently searching for a motivated Logistics Clerk to join their office in the Bellefontaine, OH area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and logistics operations, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time and direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Logistics Clerk Responsibilities Include:

Communicate with customers regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc. via phone and email

Plan and prepare shipments and delivery schedules

Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s)

Prepare accurate orders and packing slips for shipments

Create shipping lists, invoices, and maintain other department documentation as needed

Other duties assigned

Logistics Clerk Requirements Include:

Minimum high school diploma or GED required

Previous work history in shipping / receiving, inventory control, warehousing, etc. preferred, as well as customer service ability

Must be able to operate forklift

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment

Strong problem-solving and time management skills; ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
