SANITATION ASSOCIATE - FOOD PROCESSING

3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Columbus, OH Temp-to-Hire

Allied Reliability is seeking experienced Sanitation Associates for our premier client in the Columbus area. If you take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety, we want to talk to you!

THE ROLE

As a Sanitation Associate, you'll be responsible for maintaining critical food safety standards in a raw poultry processing facility. Using specialized equipment and following strict protocols, you'll ensure all processing areas meet rigorous cleanliness requirements before daily operations begin.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment to sanitize processing lines and packaging stations

Remove protein residue, fat, and soil from food processing equipment

Disassemble, clean, and sanitize conveyor systems, cutting equipment, and weighing stations

Follow precise chemical handling procedures to ensure proper sanitation

Complete detailed documentation verifying cleaning protocols were followed

Conduct pre-operational inspections before production restarts

Help train and support new team members

Maintain cleanliness in high-risk contamination zones

WHAT YOU BRING

2+ years of sanitation experience in food processing

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices

Ability to read and follow detailed cleaning procedures

Experience working in cold, wet environments (below 40 ree;F)

Comfort working around raw meat products

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Reliable attendance record and meticulous attention to detail

Willingness to work overnight hours and weekends as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Valid, unexpired driver's license required

Must pass background check and drug screening

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in refrigerated environments

Willingness to wear required PPE (rubber boots, gloves, face shields, etc.)Company Description
