About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, process invoicing, and ensure timely collections. This role plays a vital part in supporting our Accounting & Finance operations and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Management

Run credit checks and assist in credit risk evaluations for new customers

Audit and set up new customer accounts with accuracy and completeness

Maintain sales tax exemption documentation and ensure compliance

Collections if warranted

Order Entry & Invoicing

Assist with order entry and ensure billing accuracy

Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner

Reconcile sales tax payables and support filing requirements

General Accounting & Support

Apply customer payments and monitor outstanding balances

Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections

Work with internal teams to resolve billing issues

Maintain accurate AR records and perform account reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and collections

Strong understanding of accounting principles, finance, and bookkeeping

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel mandatory and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Education

Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Pay: $57,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
