Supporting initiatives, projects and line functions on application architecture topics
Supporting the development of EBA and EAA recommendations, guidelines and strategies to enhance Infrastructure technology or the overall IT Architecture at BMW
Application architecture for infrastructure and general IT operations processes
Maintenance of product portfolio in central systems
Consulting on implementation of strategies and/ or architecture recommendations, guidelines
Monitor and/ or drive the implementation of architecture relevant changes, tasks and KPIs
Development and operations of various reportings with BI tools, mainly QuickSight
What should you bring along
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Minimum of 7 -to 10 years professional working experience in IT
Fluent in English-speaking, including Business reading and writing
General German language skills and willingness to enhance these to Business level
Prior experience in an Enterprise Architect / Infrastructure Architect / Solution Architect role
Broad understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts
Experience with TOGAF and ITIL frameworks
Experience with the Agile Methodology
Project Management experience and skills
In-depth working knowledge of architecture landscapes, processes, information flows
Excellent process thinking
Preferred skills
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills (English and desirable German)
Excellent analytical skills to prepare decisions from all relevant perspectives (strategic, business, processes, technical, commercial)
Ability to conceptualize complex information, but also delve into the details when required
Ability to relate to a variety of Stakeholders at different organizational levels
Able to work under pressure and be resilient in stressful situations
Target-oriented, self-motivated and open to learn independently
Flexibility to take up different tasks in the team and be a team player
Willing to travel internationally, for up to 2 weeks at a time
