Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in inventory management, order processing, and logistics. This is primarily a desk-based role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with ERP system proficiency. A key aspect of this role is maintaining effective and proactive communication with Account Support, Sales, and Customers to ensure seamless order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, process-driven, and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee inventory control, stock management, and order fulfillment processes.
Manage and optimize the ERP system to track inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Account Support & Sales) to provide real-time inventory updates, address order-related issues, and facilitate smooth operations.
Communicate directly with customers regarding order status, shipping timelines, and any potential delays, ensuring a high level of service and transparency.
Generate reports, analyze data, and make strategic recommendations to improve warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Train and mentor warehouse personnel on ERP usage, inventory control, and best practices.
Monitor and manage warehouse performance metrics, such as order accuracy, turnaround times, and on-time deliveries.
Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal departments (Account Support, Sales) and external customers.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and industry best practices
