Qualifications:

BS Engineering required; MS preferred.

PE license required, SE license desirable.

5+ years structural/geotechnical design experience (commercial, residential, mixed-use).

Competent in designing/detailing wood, concrete, and steel structures.

Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and teamwork skills are essential.

Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (or equivalent).

Experienced in facilitating meetings, statistical analysis, and detailed reporting.

Familiarity with building codes and gravity/lateral systems desirable.

Responsibilities:

Review, oversee, and produce engineering permit packages.

Coordinate with engineering and drafting teams to prepare and verify submissions.

Collaborate with Certified Field Inspectors to define project scope.

Conduct site evaluations for complex and commercial structures; prepare assessment reports and repair designs as needed.

Work with production crews to resolve construction issues and validate as-built documentation.

Communicate effectively with building and municipal officials throughout project phases.

Interpret and apply local and regional building codes.

Develop and deliver training presentations to administrative, production, and sales teams.

Additional duties as assigned.
