Welding Engineer – Automotive Stamping & Welding

Location: Southern California. $115K – $135K

Leading Automotive & Consumer Products Manufacturer

We’re seeking an experienced Weld Engineer with a strong background in automotive welding, quality, robotics, and stamping (steel & aluminum). Spanish fluency is a big plus!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead welding solutions for stamping & robotic weld cells (MIG, TIG, Spot)

Develop procedures, troubleshoot processes, and support prototype builds

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and plant leadership

Evaluate new tech and manage capital projects

Work with customers on automotive and consumer product weld applications

Requirements:

Automotive experience REQUIRED (PPAP, APQP, Die, etc.)

Bachelor's in engineering + 3+ years in quality or weld engineering

Strong leadership, innovation, and problem-solving skills

Solid knowledge of welding techniques and robotic systems

Bonus: Spanish fluency, SolidWorks, CAD experience, PLCs
