Job Description: Low-Voltage/Life Systems Project Manager

CamNet Inc. is looking for self- motivated people with a positive attitude to join our company. They must be able to promote the company, co-workers, clients, and partners.

Provide a skill set to recognize issues, communicate all issues with the Operations Manager, and give accurate and clear directions.

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with experience as a Low-Voltage/Life Systems Project Manager. You will need to be able to take a scope of work, create a work plan, create a list a materials and equipment needed and complete the project within scope, on time, and on budget. Project size and scope varies considerably and requires a mix of IT and low voltage skills such as pulling cable, fiber optics, installing cable racks and equipment, wireless access points, cameras, Access Control equipment, Intrusion Systems etc.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget

· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.

· Ensure resource availability and allocation

· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

· Report and escalate to management as needed

· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks

· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

· Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information

· Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

· Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives

· Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

· Make sure clients’ needs are met as projects evolve and are delivered

· Help prepare budgets

· Analyze risks and opportunities

· Oversee project procurement management

· Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

· Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

· Work with Operations Managers to eliminate blockers or barriers

· Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures

· Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (contracts, change orders, terms of agreement)

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports

· Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

Requirements and Skills:

· Great educational background, preferably in the fields of construction management or engineering for technical Project Managers.

· Proven working experience as a project administrator of in the information technology sector

· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in rough in, trim and finish work

· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· BICSI Certified
