Job Summary

Shiva International Residential School is seeking an experienced and visionary School Principal to lead our institution towards academic excellence and holistic student development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of school operations, fostering a positive learning environment, and implementing strategies to ensure continuous improvement in student performance and staff development. Key Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership to faculty, staff, and students, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Develop and implement educational policies, curriculum standards, and school-wide initiatives.

Ensure high academic standards by monitoring student performance, teacher effectiveness, and school programs.

Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, offering professional development opportunities and mentorship.

Establish and maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive school environment.

Oversee admissions, student affairs, and parent communications, ensuring transparency and engagement.

Manage school finances, budgeting, and resource allocation effectively.

Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards.

Foster collaboration with external stakeholders, including educational bodies, community organizations, and alumni networks.

Promote extracurricular activities, sports, and leadership programs to support holistic development.

Implement and oversee health, safety, and security policies within the school campus.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field. A B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree is mandatory.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the education sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role.

Skills:

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies.

Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Proficiency in using digital tools for administration and education management.

Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets efficiently.

Certifications: Leadership training or administrative certifications are an added advantage.
