Universal Music Group is in search of an Assistant A&R Manager to be based in Jakarta.

About the role:

To support A&R manager and coordinate full A&R lifecycle, from research to recording/production process to product release

Oversee and be accountable for project expenditures & budgets

Identify repertoire, specifically audio and video elements, for commercial exploitation through archive research and asset management

Maintain strict quality control of products & releases

Maintain relationship with producers, song writers, vocal directors, sound engineers, etc

Desirable Traits:

Good attitude, team work, willing to learn something new and explore

At least 1 years experience or Fresh graduate from related major (audio, sound, recording production)

Know how to manage A&R and budget process for a product release from origination to product completion

Must be current on today's music industry environment including streaming/digital platforms

Ability to multi-task, ensure meticulous attention to detail, prioritize and work well under pressure & deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment

Strong understanding of the music industry & recording methods and technology

Proven track record initiating, originating, managing and successfully completing all relevant aspects of recorded music releases and projects

Proficient in Microsoft offices (Excel, Words, Outlook etc.) and related program for music/audio
