Job Description CNC Mill Programmer – Precision Manufacturing $35–$40/hr 5-Axis Focus A leading precision manufacturing company in the Twin Cities area is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer to join their high-performance team.

This role is crucial for programming complex multi-axis components, creating fixturing solutions, optimizing setups, and mentoring junior machinists.

Responsibilities: Program moderately complex parts for multi-axis CNC mills (5-axis) using industry-leading CAM software.

Design and implement efficient work holding and fixture strategies.

Complete high-complexity machine setups with a focus on minimizing run times and maximizing accuracy.

Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machinery with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

Perform deburring and finishing of parts as needed.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to drive projects forward.

Provide hands-on mentoring and training to developing machinists.

Maintain a strong focus on achieving tight tolerances and utilizing best practices in machining.

Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). 3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Strong skills in blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and CAM programming (Mastercam or similar). Preferred: Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or similar field.

Experience working in ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified manufacturing environments.
