Full Time Renderer (Solid Plaster)

SALARY $75,000 - $80,000 + SUPERANNUATION

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Renderer (Solid Plaster) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster, render, and other finishing materials to walls and ceilings, both internally and externally, ensuring a high standard of finish for a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for rendering by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing.

• Apply render, plaster, and other coatings to walls, ceilings, and external surfaces.

• Ensure proper application of materials to achieve a smooth and even finish.

• Work with different types of rendering materials including cement-based, acrylic, and lime.

• Install reinforcing materials such as mesh or fibreglass as required.

• Mix plaster and render materials to the correct consistency.

• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are

met.

• Adhere to safety standards and work practices to ensure a safe work environment.

• Perform quality checks on work completed to ensure standards are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Solid Plastering or relevant qualification

• At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of plastering and rendering techniques, materials, and tools.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks.

• Experience with decorative plaster finishes or specialized coatings.
