What you will do:
At AAA Northeast, the eBusiness Team is driving digital evolution through data analysis and optimization. In the past few years, we have been recognized by Adobe and by Microsoft as key partners in digital transformation. We’re searching for an Associate Email Specialist with a desire to learn and join our team to further enhance the digital experience for the millions of members within our reach. In this role, you will collaborate with strategic partners to create and manage the production and launch of content and product using best-in-class industry tools.
In the role you will:
· Perform the execution of email sends, quality testing, A/B testing development and optimization, routine database maintenance, data entry, and data analysis.
· Work with marketing partners to execute email strategy and to create an overall strategic approach to email marketing based on industry best practices, while managing the day-to-day email marketing needs of the business lines.
· Effectively analyze campaign results and distill into recommendations that focus on optimizing email performance based on business line goals.
· Develop/create HTML email templates, testing template enhancements or changes as needed.
· Create and update Process Documentation and SOPs based on evolving business needs, technological enhancements and industry best practices.
· Maintain and update email database in accordance with CAN-Spam regulations and Club practices.
· Execute and send emails to subscribers.
· Coordinate content for email sends via Club software solutions, currently, Atlassian Jira, & Adobe Campaign.
· Ensure all SLAs and other departmental deadlines are met.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· Minimum 1-3 years in e-mail marketing.
· Experience working with email marketing database/campaign tools.
· Demonstrated experience developing and applying list segmentation techniques.
· Experience employing A/B testing regimens.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS preferred.
· Knowledge of responsive design methodology and coding a large plus.
· Knowledge of graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) a plus.
· Experience working with email marketing tools – Adobe Campaign/Adobe Journey Optimizer experience a large plus.
· Experience working with browser and device rendering services.
· Data input and spreadsheet management experience.
KNOWLEDGE:
· Deep knowledge of email marketing and online demand generation activities with proven success in development and execution of traditional and innovation activities.
· Comfort using empirical data to support marketing decisions; ability to glean intelligence and behavioral inferences from data, demonstrable history of using data to improve profits.
· Solid knowledge of current email standards, email compliance regulations, and email/web best practices.
· Familiarity developing and deploying content for tightly defined target audiences.
· Advanced knowledge of email marketing quality assurance for interactive campaigns.
· Email coding and editing.
