Position Summary: As the New Albany Community Engagement Associate, you will be responsible for creating fresh and engaging programming for the New Albany Jewish community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Logistics:
Create, coordinate and execute programming for the New Albany Jewish community including speaker programs, cultural arts events, mahjong classes and open play, family programs and other community building opportunities.
Implement Jewish Life & Learning opportunities that engage families and adults in New Albany.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, guest lists, and on-site coordination.
Work with vendors, volunteers, and staff to ensure events run smoothly.
Develop a committee of community members to help with the program development in New Albany.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience: Minimum required or preferred:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, communications, or event planning.
Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills.
Proficient with technology and comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
