IT Program Director - Supply Chain ERP - Industrial

Position Summary

We are looking for an IT Program Manager with proven expertise in ERP systems migration within industrial environments, ideally in the aerospace, automotive or defense sector. You will be responsible for defining and executing the migration strategy, managing internal and external stakeholders, leading cross-functional IT teams, and ensuring seamless coordination between business operations, technical teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the ERP migration strategy, including planning, scope, risk analysis, timelines, and resource allocation.

Manage the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional IT teams, including system analysts, developers, and infrastructure experts.

Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, finance, and production departments to align the ERP solution with business needs.

Serve as the primary customer interface for project status, risk mitigation, and change management.

Oversee third-party vendors or implementation partners, ensuring project milestones and SLAs are met.

Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system validation throughout the migration process.

Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Identify and implement process improvements for future IT transformation projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business (or equivalent).

10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 3 years leading ERP migrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Dynamics, IFS, Netsuite or similar) in industrial or manufacturing settings.

Strong experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of supply chain, finance, and production processes.

Background evaluating and migrating/upgrading on-premise to cloud based applications is a plus.

Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex timelines and deliverables.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
