Akkodis is seeking New Product Development PM Coordinator for a Contract-to-probable-hire with a direct client in Hollister CA.

Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Duration: 3+ months Contract with excellent chance of converting to Direct Hire/Salaried position (with strong performance)

Summary:

The Business Project Management Coordinator will help play a crucial part in our culture by driving critical deliveries to our customers, as well as continuous improvements throughout the organization. You will work with peer functions as well as the FBSL to manage the tactical execution of projects of varying scope. In your role, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work with others and cultivate the mindset of continuous improvement, benchmarking new best practices and improving status quo in our current systems. The Project Management Coordinator will work alone and with the project team. The successful candidate will undertake the following duties with instruction by the Project Manager:

Responsibilities:

Take direction from program manager.

Chase information.

participating in daily status meetings,

Run work orders,

Communicate with procurement for status updates on incoming hardware,

Update MS project files.

Running various reports for the product teams.

Work with NPD teams.

Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects by creating and updating customer document submitting (i.e., SDRLs, Monthly Progress Reports).

Integrated Master Schedule in MS Project. Planning and managing Outlook meetings and logging and managing action items for customer and internal meetings. Liaising with the project team and various cross-functional disciplines (contracts, quality, manufacturing, planning, and purchasing) to assist in the completion of project tasks.

Data mining, organization, and analysis.

Conducting administrative duties, such as drafting purchasing requisitions, material pick up and distribution, and material line of balance maintenance, etc.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – External/internal:

Experience and proficiency with MS Project.

Proficiency with MS Teams Planner a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail.

Courageous behavior to ask questions and follow through.

Ability to work with cross functional teams to complete projects.

High energy and desire to learn the business.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, outlook.

On-Site Flexibility.

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma (required)

AA Degree or Bachelors in Business, Management, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred.
