Job Summary:
We are seeking a technical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a STEM background with 1–3 years of relevant experience, a degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering, and a proven ability to manage projects and clients efficiently. This role is responsible for delivering technical reports, managing timelines, and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring project goals are met with the highest level of quality.
In addition to technical execution, this role will play a key part in onboarding new clients and guiding them through our company’s testing processes, capabilities, and value-added services. As a bridge between customers and internal teams, you will be essential in ensuring a smooth transition from sales engagement to project kickoff, promoting long-term partnerships and positive client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
Communicate to clients testing data and analysis related to package, product, and material testing.
Ensure accurate and timely results for clients by maintaining high standards of interim and final test reports.
Develop and recommend test plans for customers based on engineering and scientific principles.
Project Management:
Manage client testing requests from initiation to test setup and final reporting.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines and deliverables.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Customer Service and Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing technical inquiries and providing regular updates on project progress.
Translate technical information into clear and actionable insights for clients.
Proactively recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and optimize testing outcomes.
Onboard new clients, including technical intake, expectations-setting, and education on our testing capabilities, workflow, and reporting structure.
Build long-term client relationships by articulating the value of our services and introducing applicable product offerings and testing capabilities that align with client goals.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to optimize client services.
Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to support continuous improvement of company offerings.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Chemical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering, or a related STEM field, required.
Experience:
1–3 years in a technical role involving lab services, customer interaction, and project management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with lab equipment, testing procedures, and technical data analysis.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Project Management Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Customer Service Skills:
Strong aptitude for client communication and relationship management.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Experience onboarding new clients and introducing them to internal company systems/processes is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of package/product development processes, and/or test methods (ISTA or ASTM) related to packaging, chemical, or mechanical engineering.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
