Job Description
Now hiring a Bookkeeper for a company in North Canton.
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Full Time or Part-Time.
Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.
The Bookkeeper is responsible for providing accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable, accounts receivable, general Ledger accounting, payroll, and accounts reconciliation.
Job Duties:
Ensures all financial matters, statements and records of the organization are kept up to date and delivered on time.
Reviews and verifies invoices, check requests, and creates invoices.
Track expenses and process expense reports for drivers and owner operators.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Reconcile bank deposits daily or weekly.
Reconcile account statements and transactions.
Prepare and perform check runs.
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
Reconcile accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Prepare analysis of accounts and monitor to ensure payments are up to date.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Complete month end closing and produce monthly reports.
Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
1-3 years accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general accounting experience.
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and relevant accounting software.
