Now Hiring: Sustainability / ESG Analyst at Building Zero Consultants (BZC)

Location: On-site Surat, India

Salary: 40,000 – 60,000/month (based on proficiency)

Start Date: 1st June 2025

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in sustainability/ESG-related roles

We’re looking for a Sustainability / ESG Consultant who is passionate about driving change, solving complex challenges, and helping organizations embed sustainability at their core.

What You'll Do:

️ Develop strategies to reduce emissions across Scopes 1, 2 & 3

️ Conduct GHG assessments using GHG Protocol, ISO 14064

️ Build and implement net-zero and ESG strategies (SBTi, UN SDGs, IFRS, etc.)

️ Analyze ESG performance and risks, and report using GRI, BRSR, TCFD

️ Create meaningful sustainability metrics and KPIs

️ Collaborate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders

️ Stay current with sustainability trends, frameworks, and reporting standards

What We're Looking For:

At least 2 years of relevant experience

Strong grasp of ESG frameworks and emissions accounting

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Self-motivated, collaborative, and driven to learn

Passion for working in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment

Preferred but Not Required:

Master’s degree in sustainability or environmental disciplines

Project management experience

Knowledge of ESG ratings, carbon credits, ISO standards, and LCA

Certifications (e.g. Certified ESG Analyst, LEED GA/AP, etc.)
