Overview
Content- This position sits within our Content division which identifies and publishes accurate and relevant project data for our software solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Director to drive process transformation across our data collection operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience implementing and managing continuous improvement methodologies such as the Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar lean management systems, with the ability to apply these principles to data collection, processing, and management workflows.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of an operational excellence program tailored to data collection processes
Optimize data pipelines to increase accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and efficiency
Implement metrics and visualization systems to provide transparency into data operations
Train, coach, and mentor teams on continuous improvement methodologies for data operations
Facilitate value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in data collection processes
Develop standardized processes for data quality assurance and error handling
Drive initiatives to reduce manual processes through appropriate automation
Establish governance frameworks to ensure data compliance and security
Report on operational excellence KPIs to executive leadership
Build a sustainable culture of continuous improvement

10+ years of experience in operational excellence, with at least 5 years in data operations or similar environments
Proven experience implementing and managing process improvement systems like the Danaher Business System
Strong understanding of data management principles and processes
Experience with lean methodologies applied to information workflows and knowledge work
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and metrics
Experience with policy deployment (hoshin kanri) and strategy execution
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt ideal)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred knowledge of data collection technologies and tools
Preferred experience leading transformations in data-intensive operations
Preferred track record of achieving measurable improvements in data quality and operational efficiency
Preferred experience balancing process improvement with operational flexibility
The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, working on a computer for extended periods of time. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
This position is a hybrid position and team members are expected to have a dedicated and established remote workspace.
Ability to work hybrid in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area.
