Bishop & Company is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to assist in reducing the backlog of birth registrations and fulfilling orders for birth certificate processing and mailing.

Duties:

Input birth registration data into the system accurately and efficiently.

Review outstanding certificate orders using reports, investigate any discrepancies, and generate certificates once all issues are resolved. Update the ordering system to reflect certificate completion.

Verify the accuracy and completeness of birth certificates before certification.

Certify birth certificates with the official State of Hawaii Department of Health seal and prepare them for pickup or mailing.

Respond promptly to voicemail and email inquiries as directed by the supervisor. Requirements:

Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage clerical tasks effectively.

Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.

Ability to perform tasks accurately, independently, and within established timeframes. Additional Information:

Employment type: Temporary position for a year

Pay: $17/hr
