Position: PLC Engineer

Location: Avilla, IN 46710

Duration: Full Time

Job Type: Full Time

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: 3rd shift (10 pm to 6 am)

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programming and monitoring Machines and troubleshooting (PLCs).

Basic robotic programming (Fanuc).

Repairs and maintenance on all production related equipment

Collect data and maintain logs of production process

Work with production in recognition of process controls and problems

Safety monitors programming.

Temperature control.

Responsible for all changes in operations

Record all downtime and/or parts used on scheduled and/or non scheduled work orders

Coordinate necessary changes/additions/deletions to the PM schedule

Mechanical adjustments

Maintain and promote 6S housekeeping standards

Move equipment as needed

Set up new equipment as needed

Record and maintain all materials used in maintenance operations and ensure appropriate recycling in accordance with ISO14001 guidelines

Maintain effective quality and environmental documentation

Participate in continuous improvement teams as required

LOTO

TPM

Maintenance of robots

Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, TS 16949

Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Previous blow molding experience a plus

Knowledge of OSHA requirements and support of company safety objectives

Great communication skills (oral and written)

Good mechanical and electrical problem solving skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to work with schematics and instructions manuals for repair and or problem solving as required

College degree in engineering or programming required

Willingness to obtain six sigma green or black belt certification

Ability to work multiple shifts as required

Self motivated
