PLC Engineer

Hurco Companies Inc. is looking for a PLC Engineer for our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana office.

The PLC Engineer will help to expand our support and development of automation initiatives and better integrate our existing Mill and Lathe products with expanded offerings in automation solutions along with support and development of existing machine tool productions driven by our PLC system.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate new hardware / software for machines

Support existing products both electrical hardware and software

Create schematics and designs

Design and implement IIOT interfaces and logic to support integration of third-party devices and products for automation and process monitoring Requirements

BSEET or equivalent

3+ years work experience, PLC experience is a plus

Knowledge of Object Oriented programming

Experience with electrical hardware / software and distributed computing

C or C++ language
