Description

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy, located in Denver, CO, is seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to serve as Principal. St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy believes that "we are always learning" and the belief is inspired by the great artist Michelangelo who, at the dawn of his very accomplished life, wrote that he believed he still had so much more to learn. At the heart of St. Rose of Lima's core values is the belief that every member of the community is a learner and no matter how young or old you are, or how much education you might have, we all have much more to learn. Learning allows our minds and souls to be set free to discover what is true, beautiful, and good in the world. This is the essence of an excellent Catholic education and as we are reminded by St. John Paul II, "this transmits a comprehensive vision of life...that liberates students in the most profound meaning of human freedom," (Address to US Bishops May 30, 1998).

For over 60 years, St. Rose of Lima has been a beacon of excellence and hope for the southwest community of Denver. St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy has implemented an authentic and rigorous Catholic formation, through which they equip students not only with academic prowess, but also with the skills necessary to transform the world as witnesses of Christ's truth and love. St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy currently serves 172 students in grades Preschool through Eighth grade, 91% of the students are Catholic, and 92% of the students are Hispanic/Latino.
