Job SummaryThe incumbent will focus on setting controls in the Operations area in line with Absa Bank minimum standards and best practices.

In addition to setting up processes, the function will be responsible for regular quality checks and RCSA/RACI to identify lapses from policy and take corrective action.

To drive and deliver high performance in governance and controls for Operations.

To provide business leadership & operational excellence to the governance team/staff

To develop, enhance and implement effective / robust controls and processes.

To ensure all local regulations and corporate policies are adhered to.

Audit preparation, management and closure of audit findings.

Governance & Compliance.

Fraud and Risk Event management.

Education

Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
