POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Sponsorships, Partnerships, and Activation Intern will support the Milwaukee Milkmen's corporate partnerships team throughout the baseball season. This role provides hands-on experience in sponsorship activation, client services, and event execution. The intern will assist with on-site sponsor-related elements during game days, including live partner activations, promotions, VIP coordination, and asset verification, while contributing to non-game day planning and support. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, enthusiastic about live sports and marketing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assist the Partnerships & Activation team in preparing and executing sponsor activations during Milwaukee Milkmen home games.
• Support the coordination of on-site marketing activations such as tabling, signage visibility, product sampling, and hospitality elements.
• Serve as a liaison to partners on game day, helping with setup and breakdown, and ensuring all elements are delivered according to sponsorship agreements.
• Coordinate Partner experiences including ceremonial first pitches, on-field recognitions, and premium seating or hospitality logistics.
• Capture photos and document execution of all contracted sponsor assets (signage, activations, in-game mentions, digital displays, etc.) for proof-of-performance reports.
• Aid in managing game day logistics including credential distribution, hospitality suite setup, and on-field promotions related to partnerships.
• Assist with organization of sponsorship inventory and activation materials.
• Provide additional support across non-game day events and sponsorship planning as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Current enrollment in a college/university program with a focus in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• Passion for sports, marketing, events, and fan engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with corporate partners and fans.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using technology and open to learning tools used for sponsor tracking and event execution.
• Must be eligible to receive academic credit or be supervised by an academic advisor from an accredited institution (negotiable).
OTHER INFORMATION
• Internship runs from May through September, depending on postseason play and academic availability.
• Interns must be available to work all Milwaukee Milkmen home games, including nights and weekends.
