Residential CAD Drafter - Maitland, FL (Onsite)

Compensation: $21-$29/hr. (negotiable based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, typical business hours

Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career minded drafting professionals to join their team. At this time, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design and CAD Drafting experience. Basic Florida Building Code knowledge is a plus!

The CAD Drafter responsibilities:

Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit)

Communicating with internal and external clients

Maintaining project records

Producing full construction documents in a production environment

Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with AutoCAD within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus)

Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Strong AutoCAD skills, preferably in the most up-to-date versions. Revit experience is a plus.

Must have some understanding of Florida Building Codes and construction practices

Experience in residential design and documentation

Experience working on full construction documents

Team player with a great attitude
