Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for

Project Manager consultant with experience in Capital Markets and Trade Life Cycle.

Fully remote, needs to be +/-1hour of New York time zone

6 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

** Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US - NO H1 Visa support for this role

Rate: $66-71 on W2, possible C2C as well.

Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to milestones and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with IT Teams and stakeholders.

Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Identify and track issues related to the project.

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

Track project milestones and deliverables.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in project management in the information technology sector.

Expected 5 years of project management experiences

Financial or banking experience

Deep knowledge of a Trade LifeCycle

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

MS Project, Jira, Confluence

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
