Telegraph is seeking an experienced Account Executive who will serve as the liaison and strategic leader for client relationship management, driving account and campaign planning and identifying opportunities and challenges.This position will be engaged in the day-to-day management of client accounts demonstrating a deep knowledge of their clients business with a focus on understanding the goals and objectives and fostering open communication between internal and external teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead primary day-to-day client management of relationships
Responsible for development and execution of marketing solutions to achieve the clients goals and objectives
Team-focused leader Fuel inter-departmental relationships and liaison between account leadership, project management team counterparts, creative and other functions
Building and developing relationships between agency and client to ensure collaboration, partnership and open day-to-day communication
Lead client presentations, participate in dialogue and steward the conversation
Identify new opportunities through client conversations and insights/reporting
Manage financial stewardship of client budgets coordinating with project management team counterpart
Monitor and manage account profitability reporting to senior management
Maintain and update necessary reporting
Contribute to ongoing process refinements and ways of working
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field
3+ years of relevant marketing or advertising experience (agency experience expected)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Consistently demonstrates problem solving skills
Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressure
Demonstrated excellence at client retention/organic growth within the agencys targeted industry sectors
Ability to manage client budgets, billings, and forecasting with dependability and accuracy
Technical skills to successfully perform the selling, planning, and reporting responsibilities of the position
Ability to work autonomously, while understanding when to ask for support
Proactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibility
Exhibits strong listening skills and the ability to tactfully communicate position on relevant issues to reach team consensus
Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team
