The Ohio Office of Budget and Management (OBM) is the fiscal backbone of the State of Ohio enterprise. OBM works with the Governor and every state agency in providing policy analysis, fiscal research, and financial management services. What you'll do:
Our Human Resources section provides service and support to OBM staff, and the staff and board members of the 27 boards and commissions that we serve. As the HCM Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact on HR management issues for the boards and commissions, working closely with the executive directors. In this role, you will:
Provide consultation and advice regarding classification and salary matters, talent acquisition, state policies and programs, and civil service and employment laws.
Oversee payroll, absence management, benefit administration, and talent acquisition processes.
Work on labor relations activities like conducting administrative hearings and investigations, and processing grievances.
Serve as EEO officer and ADA coordinator for the boards and commissions.

Qualifications
4 years of experience in human resources.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 24 months experience in human resources which included 12 months experience in supervisory &/or management principles & techniques.
Or 12 months experience as Human Capital Management Senior Analyst (State of Ohio job code 64613).
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
