Provide instruction and leadership to assigned speech-language pathologists (SLP) and licensed speech-language pathology assistant
Provide guidance in district expectation and processes to assess student progress on speech Individual Education Plans (IEPs), including training and technical support.
Develop and coordinate an ongoing evaluation of the district speech program and recommend changes based on findings.
Present individual and group staff development training on assigned topics to assist in the identifying and understanding of students with special needs.
Support and assist assigned staff to ensure appropriate and timely completion of assessment and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee paperwork.
Assist with ordering, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Establish and maintain open communication and a professional relationship with SLPs, SLPAs, and support team members.
Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.
Keep informed of and complies with state, district, and school regulations and policies.
Compile, maintain, and file all paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
