Mechanical Applications Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Spend approximately 30% of the time engaging with customers over the phone, managing about 20-25 calls daily.
Apply technical engineering knowledge to enhance the functionality and application of company products.
Investigate and assess customer needs to better tailor product solutions.
Address and resolve customer problems, providing timely and effective solutions.
Utilize the company's internet-based engineering software to automate the sales applications engineering process, making the sales experience smoother and more efficient for customers.
Analyze customer input and collaborate with sales professionals to provide customized proposals. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
At least five years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Minimum two years of industrial sales application engineering experience.
Proven ability to engage effectively with customers over the phone.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Legally authorized to work in the US (Citizen or Green Card holder).
Residence within a 45-minute commute to Richfield, Wisconsin. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with combustion technologies is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using industry-specific software and automation tools for sales processing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record of stability in previous employment. Skills:
