JobSummary
Odyssey HouseLouisiana, Inc. is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator for the PreventionProgram. The schedule is 8am-5pm including nights and weekends as needed foroutreach events and educational interventions. The Program Coordinator isresponsible for delivering training on HIV/AIDS education and stigma to variousaudiences. The Program Coordinator is responsible for creating curriculums,disseminating information, data entry, and administrative tasks. This is a one-yeargrant scheduled to end on October 2025.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
It is the duty and responsibility of the Program Coordinator to:
• Develop training curriculums specific toHIV/AIDS ;
• Conduct educational trainings for communitymembers and partners;
• Develop printed material and educationalresources necessary for training purposes;
• Support the development of various resources,including but not limited to: reports, toolkits, protocols, training andsupporting documents;
• Work collaboratively with all employees andbusiness partners;
• Organize workload to complete responsibilitiesin an appropriate and timely manner;
• Maintain an up-to-date work calendar;
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of allactivities for data collection;
• Responsible for administrative tasks as directedby the Program Manager;
• Assist with special projects as directed by the ProgramManager;
• Attend and participate in management, staffmeetings, and vendor service meetings as requested;
• Exhibit commitment to personal and agency-widegoals;
• Promote a safe and efficient working environmentby adhering to Agency policies and procedures;
• Maintain confidentiality of all Agency andpatient related information;
• Attend and participate in staff and vendorservice meetings;
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations by protectingthe privacy & security of all patient/client health information;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualificationsand Skills
Required:
Minimum qualifications include the following:
• At least 1 year of health education deliveryexperience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite
• Indigent and diverse population serviceexperience
Preferred:
Preferred qualifications include the following:
• Master's Degree
• Skilled and experienced in delivery of healtheducation topics to diverse populations
• Knowledge of various healthcare issuesaffecting the community served by the Agency
• Bilingual - English/Spanish,English/Vietnamese
