Senior Software Engineer, EAI SOA

Position Overview

Responsible for creating solutions to business problems through the design and programming of applications. Involved in all aspects of application development including analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage and interval applications and may provide work leadership to other members on staff.

Job Description

Prepare technical specifications and develop software modules. Configure, integrate, implement and support complex data integration service solutions and supporting disparate business transactions running on Oracle ERP application systems, Oracle SOA and OSB (Oracle Service Bus), B2B (EDI) interactions systems, Data Warehousing (EDW) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems. Develop interfaces using Oracle SOA, OSB and Integrate different third party systems (Salesforce, AWS S3, AWI Cloud based applications) and in house applications (Oracle eBusiness, Reporting, Transportation and Legacy Mainframe Systems). Design and Develop the Software modules and services utilizing Java, J2EE and Service Oriented frameworks to support 3 tier enterprise architecture technology solutions delivering: real-time & Batch process messaging, Enterprise Application data Integrations across ERP systems and Legacy Mainframe systems.

Specifically, the duties will include:

Design, Develop and implement data movement and integration solutions based on Service Oriented Architecture framework & J2EE framework Supply Chain Management ERP systems.

Design and Develop complex Software technology solutions utilizing Oracle fusion Middleware (OSB) service components in conjunction with the following technologies: Python, Java Script, Java, Spring, IBM MQ or JMS. Develop and configure application data integration services involving technologies: XQuery, XSLT, XSD, XML, WSDL, SOAP, WS-Security, Web Services. RPC protocols, WSO2 API Management.

Implement and administrate applications running on WildFly, Weblogic 10x+, JBoss 5x+, in 3 tier multi-node clustered architectures, deployed on AIX (Unix)and Red Hat Linux platforms.

Provide 24/7 on-call production operations emergency response in regular rotation with other team members.

Provide thought leadership in evolving efficient technical solutions for integrating Systems and API development and promote best practices, ensuring productive operations & business continuity.

Interact with internal and external technical staff to resolve issues and conduct integration testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field, and five (5) years of hands-on experience in implementation and / or support of Oracle fusion Middleware technologies - Oracle SOA and OSB (Oracle Service Bus) with Oracle or any ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.

OR:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field, and three (3) years of hands-on experience in implementation and / or support of Oracle fusion Middleware technologies - Oracle SOA and OSB (Oracle Service Bus) with Oracle or any ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.

Total experience must include:

3 years of experience in design and development of custom APIs using JAVA.

1 Year of experience of Linux/AIX Unix Scripting and Oracle SQL & PLSQL
