Frazer Nash Consultancy deliver innovative solutions to resolve our customers biggest problems. We have a need for Consultants to join our team of experts in a range of our offices to assist us with providing an extensive range of expert services to our clients.

You will engage and support clients (both direct to the Ministry of Defence and major Industrial Partners) to provide solutions throughout the lifecycle of their systems and associated operational use. The roles will give you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of defence related projects ranging from small equipment through to large/complex systems and platforms. We have engineering and consultancy roles available with our defence technical axis, based in various locations around the UK.

Requirements

The qualified applicants will meet any of the following minimum requirements:

Combat Systems

Naval combat systems engineering and operational experience.

Information exchange and data systems.

Design change and management.

Understanding of assurance techniques and management systems.

Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions & Explosives

Experience as ex-service WOME operators.

Experience of working in the commercial industry in support of the WOME enterprise.

Knowledge of the conventional WOME or nuclear Standards, Policies and Regulations.

OME certification, qualification, S3, platform integration, test and evaluation.

Experience of applying safety analysis techniques, including HAZID, hazard management, functional hazard assessment, software safety, risk categorisation and classification.

Operations/Warfare

Naval above water and underwater warfare.

Tactical exploitation and integration of multi-domain warfare technologies.

Operational planning.

Desirable Requirements:

Technical assurance and maturity assessment experience

Safety management experience

Requirements development

Understanding of technical related benefits to operations and warfare

Capability integration

Information exchange and data systems, and their use in an operational context

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates for this role will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and will be required to satisfy SC clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
