About the role
We pride ourselves on giving our customers and their pets the best experience possible so you will need to be driven, have proven high performance, thrive in an agile environment and be passionate about growing within your role. You will have a professional and proactive nature, coupled with strong attention to detail that enables you to make decisions.
You'll be managing an inbound queue and assisting our customers with calls and email queries about their pet insurance.
You will do this by:
Assisting customers with various queries by answering inbound phone calls
Making outbound calls to our customers
Replying to online enquires (emails) from our customers
Assisting customers with all aspects of our Southern Cross Pet Insurance website
Ensuring all forms of contact information for our customers are correct and updated as necessary
Having a real passion for the care of our customers and their pets
About you:
Must have Customer Service experience
Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills – verbal and written
Demonstrate a mindset of agility along with flexible and adaptive working
An eye for detail, with the focus to double check work to ensure accuracy
Demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings
Develop effective relationships across an organisation with all levels of employees
Shows initiative and takes responsibility for own actions
Is a team player with the ability to work cohesively with individuals and departments
Seeks opportunities to improve work procedures and processes
Most of all a lover of all pets big or small
