Azure Systems Administrator

Tangent International are urgently looking for an Azure systems Administrator to work on a 6 month extendable contract based in the Caribbean

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Infrastructure Management:

- Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure resources (e.g., Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, etc.).

- Implement and maintain best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

Kubernetes Administration:

- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (preferably using AKS).

- Optimize cluster performance and implement effective container orchestration strategies.

Scripting & Automation:

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and/or PowerShell.

- Automate routine administrative tasks and monitor system health.

Server Resource Management:

- Monitor and manage server resources to ensure high availability and performance.

- Perform capacity planning, troubleshooting, and system tuning.

- Monitor and Optimize Azure Spending

- Implement cost control strategies, managing budgets, and leveraging Azure Cost Management tools

- Collaboration & Documentation:

- Work closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.

- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
