Job: Fabrication Supervisor– Shop Foreman - Production Supervisor Afternoon Shift – Custom Fabrication

Location: Cambridge - Guelph KW, ON area

Base Salary: 70K- 80K base

5 days a week on Site

Shift : Afternoon

Monday -Friday

Our client is a leading manufacturing company in steel and fabrication industry and have a job open for a Fabrication Supervisor– Shop Foreman - Production Supervisor for the afternoon shift for their manufacturing plant in their Cambridge - Guelph – Milton, ON area. Experience supervising / managing CNC Lathe Machining welding and similar is a MUST have.

Fabrication Supervisor– Shop Foreman - Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift is fully responsible for giving leadership to the plant and shift operations supervising processes in CNC, Lathe, Cutting, Bending, Welding and similar. You will be responsible for labour scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the shift budget ensure production planning, material planning, production scheduling, shipping receiving. You will work along Plant Engineering Process Improvement for any Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.

Fabrication Supervisor– Shop Foreman - Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift will ideally have a degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) and a minimum of 5-6 years’ leadership experience as production supervisor within CNC, welding environment. CNC (MUST have ) Hands-on welding experience / experienced welder (MIG TIG ) with leadership / management/ team lead experience highly preferred.
