Estimator / Project Manager – Concrete & Rebar

Location: SE Calgary, AB

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong background in concrete or rebar estimation and design to join our team. This full-time position offers excellent benefits, career growth, and the opportunity to work with a respected name in the steel and construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Analyze drawings, plans, and specifications to create accurate concrete/rebar cost estimates

Generate contract sales through outreach, cold calls, and follow-ups on submitted quotes

Acquire and review tender documents for upcoming projects

Negotiate sales and contract terms with clients

Track all project bids and follow up on status updates

Maintain and update contract documentation and drafting files with the admin team

Identify and communicate new sales opportunities

Source pricing for custom or special-order materials

Collaborate with Sales, Production, Installation, and Safety teams to ensure everyone understands the project scope

Review scopes of work, project specs, and addendums to ensure estimating accuracy

Revise estimates as needed based on project updates or changes

Requirements:

Concrete or rebar estimating and design experience (required)

Strong understanding of construction processes and materials

Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills

Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
